Dornbecker Children’s hospital

Once a year Dornbecker children’s hospital has a fund raiser where a company like the Portland Roofers donates it services to be auctioned off to home owners.  For example the Portland Roofers could donate say $1000 worth of roofing labor.  I would give Dornbecker the ok to auction off a $1000 certificate to home owners to bid on buying.  That certificate spends like cash at my business towards a new roof and the childrens hospital gets at least $1000.  The vouchers can get sold for more than they are actually worth as the homeowners at the auction can get caught up in the emotions of wanting to help the kids and out bid each other.
